KaZaK designs, builds and operates the world’s largest pultrusion equipment, which is automated to reduce the amount of labor needed to build product.

 

KaZaK provides product value by integrating engineering design and low-cost manufacturing to produce high performance composites for the aerospace, military and commercial markets. Specializing in large and unusual pultrusion processing, KaZaK uses three distinctive pultrusion machines that allow for composites to be manufactured in virtually any size and shape.

Our largest machine, designed and built by KaZaK, allows very large and unusual composites to be built with minimal supervision.  This unique proprietary pultrusion machine has a patented die with highly controlled resin flow and pressure.  The width is extensible due to the mirror halves design which can be pulled apart to very large widths.  For example, this machine has the capability to build continuous interlocking panels for ship hulls – they are over 10 feet wide and up to 12 inches thick and can be up to 200 feet long.  In building panels of this size ship builders will save money on both assembly and transport.

KaZaK also built another unique machine that can pultrude any part design that fits into the 3 x 3 foot opening. This machine is used to manufacture composites such as missile canisters.

Additionally, KaZaK also runs a small pultruder that can produce composites less than 20 thousandths in diameter. This machine can be used for applications that require composite wire that is used in the dental and medical fields. 

With the different pultrusion machines available, KaZaK can produce virtually any size composite in almost any dimension, allowing KaZaK to offer solutions in all industries that other companies can't fulfill.
