KaZaK Composites’ Engineering Team provides highly integrated advanced material solutions for government and commercial industries through composite design, structural analysis, 3-D CAD capability and process engineering.

The solution to many problems faced by KaZaK's customers begins early in the engineering process. The engineers match material to performance, enabling constituent selection and employ micro and macro mechanics. Our 3-D capability links to manufacturing, enables automated geometry capture and facilitates rapid and cost effective tooling. KaZaK's process engineering assembles constituents, designs tooling, trades parameters and optimizes costs for pultrusion and other high value processes.

Used by the military, KaZaK’s composite structures are designed to be portable, strong and assembled quickly and easily. Because they cost less than other composite structures of comparable design and quality they are also well-suited for commercial applications.

KaZaK designed and manufactured a mast trunk for use on submarines using a multi-material approach. In doing so, the U.S. Navy was assured that the mast trunks would be durable, withstand the pressure of waves adequately and also reduce the amount of degradation of the materials due to sea water.
