KaZaK's
team of highly-qualified engineers
works with clients to successfully
integrate composite solutions into
their end product. This goal is achieved
through the use of low-cost manufacturing
technology that KaZaK has been able
to provide higher value products to
the aerospace, marine, military and
commercial markets. KaZaK can offer
multiple industries lower cost and
innovative solutions with the following
services: |
|
Advanced Material Solutions |

|
We operate the world's largest pultrusion equipment and can also fabricate parts by prepreg layup, filament winding, braiding, VARTM, press molding and oven cure.
|
|
|

|
KaZaK has produced composite flight hardware used on nearly 20 different spacecraft and developed composite structural components for a variety of military and commercial applications. KaZaK is able to satisfy the exacting standards of aerospace and military clients through an ability to thoroughly understand their complex problems. |
|
|

|
While
meeting aggressive performance schedules
and cost requirements, KaZaK's engineers
have the ability to evaluate intricately
designed structures and offer innovative
solutions to complex problems. |
|
|

|
KaZaK's
streamlined process employing automated
manufacturing and large-scale pultrusion
equipment allows companies to cut costs
through labor reductions, creation
of single part sections and integration
of assembly details. |
|
Unique
Pultruded Components |

|
KaZaK's
use of the world's largest pultrusion
machine has enabled us to design and
build composites that are made from
non-traditional materials that move
beyond the usual commodity shapes and
sizes. In doing so, KaZaK is able to
furnish a variety of industries with
unusual pultrusion applications such
as hybrid material armor, finely detailed
pultrusions, polyurethane stanchions
and piezoceramic smart structures. |
|
|

|
KaZaK works with select partners and customers who can manufacture certain composite designs developed by KaZaK engineers, using reasonable and workable license terms that benefit both parties. This option allows KaZaK to develop a varied portfolio of composite products and enables partners to save money by manufacturing the designs in-house. |
|
Custom
Design and Development |

|
KaZaK models compile composite structures to ensure that the resulting hardware meets transient, static, thermal and impact load requirements.
This is achieved
by using finite element analysis
as well as other commercially and
internally developed software techniques.
We
also work in conjunction with clients
to create workable prototypes prior
to committing to final configurations.
Additionally, product designs are
tailored to maximize product creation
automation, which often results in
composites that cost less than the
metal parts they replace. |
