CONTROLLER

A key member of the management team, the Controller will direct the financial affairs of the organization and prepare financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management. The Controller is responsible for the company's financial policies, its accounting practices, the conduct of its relationships with lending institutions and the financial community, the maintenance of its fiscal records, cash management, the preparation of financial reports and contract review and administration. The position involves supervision over general accounting, property accounting, internal auditing and budgetary controls.

The Controller will have significant interaction with senior management, government agencies and customers

Requirements:

• Ten (10) plus years of experience required.
• Requires a sound knowledge of accounting practices and a high aptitude for analytical reporting.
• Government accounting knowledge a definite plus and familiarity with government accounting practices and software.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

COMPOSITES ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

The successful candidate will be responsible for development, management, and successful completion of government and industry development programs involving composite materials technologies, with primary responsibility for the adequacy of composite designs. In addition, the Manager develops and directs programs and proposals, seeks funding and sponsorship, tracks schedule and budget/profit performance, insures program reporting and deliverable requirements are met, interfaces with management, customers, laboratories, scientists, operations, contracts, suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Advanced Degree in Composites, Materials, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Project management experience required; project team management preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop composite product designs, and verify those designs through prototype fabrication and testing.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and follow through to completion.
• Proficiency in CAD and FEA tools and MS Office applications. Knowledge of pultrusion is a plus.
• 10 + years of experience in the design and development of composite structures.
• 5+ years management experience required.
• US Citizenship is required or resident legal alien (ITAR and DoD program requirements).

SR. COMPOSITES ENGINEER

This hands-on position focuses on designing and fabricating innovative composite product designs and processes, as well as material selection and recommendation.  The successful candidate will participate in the development, management, and successful completion of government and industry R&D programs involving composite materials technologies in such areas as shipbuilding, aerospace and space applications.  In addition, will write proposals, technical reports and create presentations. 

Requirements:

• MS in Composites, Materials, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 
• 10+ Years experience with composites development and engineering, emphasizing design and analysis and/or materials and processes
• Core material design or selection experience required.
• Fabric lay-up sequence design experience for solid laminate/sandwich panels experience preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple composites manufacturing processes (Pultrusion, VARTM, RTM, hand-lay up, filament winding, vacuum forming, sandwich panel fabrication, bonding, and machining)
• Demonstrated ability to develop composite product designs, and verify those designs through prototype fabrication and testing.  Finite element analysis expertise using ANSYS required; NASTRAN a plus.
• Computational Fluid Dynamics experience, Composites material experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and follow through to completion. 
• Experience with design and FEA software applications as they apply to composite materials is a plus, especially Solidworks & ANSYS 
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Office applications
• US Citizenship or resident legal alien (ITAR and DoD program requirements).

COMPOSITE MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN

We currently have a need for a reliable manufacturing technician with experience in composites to join our team. 

Duties: 

• Mold and material preparation for lay-ups of composite structures
• Will fabricate and assemble composite parts using epoxy resins, fiberglass, carbon, structural adhesives, rivets and fasteners.
• Removal and dressing of finished parts from molds
• Cleaning of molds and associated equipment
• Inspection of piece parts utilizing micrometers, verniers and gages
• Technical support of all aspects of engineering and production
• Basic mechanical assembly
• General cleanup of shop area and work benches
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• 3+ years of related experience in a deadline-driven shop environment
• Knowledge of materials, fabrics, resins, chemicals and components used in advanced composite production
• Experience with industrial ovens, hydraulic press with heated platens
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and measuring devices
• Ability to work with chemicals, wear protective safety equipment (i.e. respirator, dust mask, ear protection, etc.), and handle moderate noise levels
• Ability to read, write and speak in English; ability to understand simple instructions and drawings
• Must possess competent math and computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Manual dexterity and good peripheral vision and depth perception
• Strong "mechanical assembly" background with experience in construction, and/or jobs that require the use of a multitude of hand tools
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
